Continental Casualty Co., printed application, accomplished by hand, for
1000 dollars death indemnity on the life of Edward P. Read, describing him
as "stock salesman, office & trav. duties only." (19) TLS, 1 page, on
Gimbel Brothers letterhead, to Mrs. Read, re a piece of Black Dress goods,
which can not be sent by their Delivery Wagon, 1912, with envelope. (20)
Robert Briggs Real Estate Co. statement to Dr. E.P. Read, with full-page
manuscript on the verso giving medication advice, signed Parker. (21)
Receipt for mortgage payment of "seventy-four dollars for six months
interest and fifty dollars off principle," made out to E. Parker Read,
signed by Harry H. Albertson, 1921. (22) Poster, 17"x11", black display
type on orange card stock, in part: "For Autumn and Winter Ailments / Try
the Best Remedy / Read's / Herb Tonic / Nature's Cure for Human Ills /
Builds weak, rundown folks / and wards off winter colds...," fine
condition. Very Good.
