green cloth. One of 1000 copies SIGNED by the author at the end of the 
preface. Illustrated with hundreds of steel engravings, etchings, 
aquatints, and figure drawings by the author. Early, simple bookplate on 
each front pastedown with initials "S. G. P." and "E. C. C." Some minor 
wear to spine tips and cracking of a few hinges, but covers tight. Near 
Fine example of this lovely set and quite uncommon in the original cloth
