contemporary full morocco, front & rear panels 
with triple borders and fleurons in the corners, 
all in gilt; spine panel with 5 raised bands and 
elaborately decorated gilt in compartments, gilt 
titles, marbled endpapers, inner dentilles, all 
edges gilt; a lovely period binding. xvii, 456pp; 
decorative title page vignette, decorative 
head-and tail-pieces throughout the text. 
Trifling wear, a lovely copy, nearly fine, in an 
elaborate and pleasing period binding.

version and the Latin Vulgate are printed in parallel columns.
