NIGHT. A Plain and Literal Translation of the Arabian Nights 
Entertainments. New York: Limited Editions Club, 1934. Six octavo 
volumes (5-3/4" x 9-1/4") bound in half natural cowhide leather and 
printed paper sides designed by Valenti Angelo. The unabridged 
translation complete with notes and index by Sir Richard Burton. 
Illustrated with 1001 drawings by Valenti Angelo. Copy #83 of 1500 
SIGNED by the illustrator on the colophon page. The first multi-volume 
set issued by the press. The leather on the spine has very little wear 
with only minor rubbing to a few spots and retains its suppleness. It is 
very difficult to find this set today in anything approaching this 
condition as the leather did not wear well. Two slipcases are Very Good; 
the third has cloth tape repairs to the edges. Announcement card laid 
in. Near Fine set in Good to Very Good slipcases. (#015007)        $1,000.00
