Sanderson, George Augustus, (1863-1933). Archive of five manuscript addresses by this Massachusetts Superior Court Justice. Each piece is written in Sanderson's hand on lined paper measuring approx 8"  x 9.75" . All are in very good condition and each is clipped with fasteners holding them together. They are as follows;

Address On The Civil Service Law, 1888. Cover and 13pp with a few corrections. A very well presented argument in support of the new (1880s) Civil Service Laws against spoilsmanship.

(Leon) Gambetta. Title and 7pp on rectos only. Address on this French Statesman.

Address Delivered At Acton, April 15, 1888. 22pp with many corrections. The Men of Acton as Minutemen and the American Revolution.

Individual Experiences In The Prayer Meeting. Read At Harvard Anniversary, Y. P. S. C. E., March, 1888. 5pp with a few corrections.

Address Delivered At Boxboro Farmer's Assn. Annual Supper, 1889. 7pp in red ink with corrections. A look back 100 years at the people, society and area.
