HARRER, Heinrich. SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET. New York: E. P. Dutton & 
Company, Inc., 1954. First Edition. Second Printing. INSCRIBED and 
SIGNED on the recto of the frontispiece photograph in Phoenix in 
February 1955 to George Babbitt by the author who also adds two lines in 
Tibetan. Some offsetting to endpapers. Spine of book and dustwrapper 
sunned. Very Good in a clipped, Very Good dustwrapper with minor wear.

George Babbitt Jr. was the son of one the of the early pioneers in 
Flagstaff, Arizona, George Babbitt Sr. George Babbitt Jr. served as 
Flagstaff postmaster from 1936 to 1951 and was considered a civic leader 
in the movement to preserve historic sites in Arizona. (#017250)
