I can offer...

Scrapbook of golf pro Thomas J. Reilly, who served at several New England golf clubs and laid out 6 of them. 1920’s – 1930’s. 21 pp. Includes several newspaper clippings; 12 letters of recommendation or thanks (including a few from sporting goods companies); 15 golf-related photos; two postcards depicting the Rutland Country Club in Rutland, VT; and various business cards, letterheads, etc. for sports-related as well as non-sports-related endeavors. Mr. Reilly has penned a two-and-a-half page resume of his activities between 1921-1939, which lists the courses he designed and several of his other activities.

Not surprisingly, the pages of the scrapbook are fairly brittle, and several have detached; some captions to the non-golf photos are worn away along the right-hand margin; good oveall.

An interesting glimpse into one golf pro’s career.
