MILNE, A. A. WINNIE-THE-POOH. London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., (1926). First 
Edition. The true first printing of this children's classic with 
illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard, this appearing to be one of a small 
number of the more luxurious deluxe edition produced in soft leather and 
printed on coated stock. This copy has been rebound in full blue morocco 
leather with the same gilt depiction on the front cover of Christopher 
Robin and Pooh that appeared on the original deluxe edition and with 
gilt depictions of Pooh on the spine, with all edges gilt. Clean copy 
with a sticker "Jane Austen Prize" pasted to the recto of the first
