1938. First Edition. Publisher's tan cloth decorated in orange with 
black lettering. The scarce first issue with the F. A. I. pictorial 
endpapers. Copy #48 of 1000 numbered copies. It is believed that only 50 
to 100 copies of the first issue were printed. Somewhat faint, small 
dark stain at the heel of the spine which also exhibits just the very 
beginning of fraying. Undated owner birthday inscription on the half 
title page. Very Good to Near Fine and quite scarce in the first issue.
