LIMITED EDITION of 220 copies, printed by Patrick Reagh. This book traces the life and printing career of Scott E. Haselton (1895-1991). Born in 1895 in New Hampshire, Scott Haselton moved to California for health reasons, but became a cactus enthusiast, founding and publishing Journal of the Cactus and Succulent Society and more than a hundred books and pamphlets. Haselton’s imprint was the “Abbey San Encino Press,” having studio space and printing equipment at the Abbey San Encino in the 1930s.
