A Translation of such parts of the Rolls of Parliament, as are referred to in the Schedule annexed to the Report of the Committee appointed to search for Precedents; Together with a Copy of certain Acts of the Parliament of Scotland referred to in that Report. London: Printed for John Stockdale, 1788. FIRST EDITION. Disbound 8vo; 96 pp.
Relates to the efforts by parliament, in the wake of George III's madness, to find legal precedents for establishing a regency under his son the Prince of Wales (the future Prince Regent and King George IV). Disbound from a nonce volume with remnants of the earlier leather binding on the spine; some creases and light soiling to the title-page; stain to three leaves not affecting legibility; otherwise quite clean and sound, securely bound.
