TOLSTOY, Leo. ANNA KARENINA. Cambridge: Limited Editions Club, 1951. Two
octavo volumes (5-7/8" x 8-3/4") bound in cloth decorated with
lithographic drawings by Barnett Freedman drawn on and printed from the
stones. Illustrated with color autolithographs drawn on the stone (225
separate stones!) by Barnett Freedman and printed from the stones at the
Curwen Press. Translated by Constance Garnett. Of a total of 1500 copies
SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page, this copy is not numbered (in
place of the number is written in ink "Office Copy") and bears the
Club's blindstamp stating it is one of 15 presentation copies. Spines
sunned with just a touch of wear to the heels. Near Fine in a Very Good,
intact slipcase with a small chip at the bottom of the back edge.
