BAUDELAIRE, Charles. LES FLEURS DU MAL and FLOWERS OF EVIL. New York: 
Limited Editions Club, 1971. Two volumes, one in the original French 
(5-1/2" x 9") bound with a magenta buckram spine and marbled boards and 
the other with English translations by various hands (6-3/4" x 11- 1/2") 
bound in full magenta buckram. Printed at the Press of A. Colish. 
Edited, with an introduction and notes, by James Laver. Illustrated with 
10 double-page etchings for the English volume and 18 line vignettes for 
the French volume by Pierre-Yves Tremois. Copy #39 of 1500 copies, with 
the English volume SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page. Both books 
are housed in the same slipcase. Bookplate on front pastedowns. Fine in
