¶ "As It Is Written is one of the longest and
earliest works of fiction from the pen of Clark
Ashton Smith. This long forgotten Oriental
fantasy (it may well have been written some years
earlier) was accepted by the fabled pulp
magazine, Thrill Book, in 1919... The story of
how it was rediscovered and rescued - revealed
here for the first time - after languishing in
oblivion for almost 60 years is, in itself, an
exciting and marvelous tale..." - from the jacket
blurb. All this is fine and dandy, but the book
was rashly brought into print and it was only
after its publication that it was discovered to
have actually been written by De Lysle Ferree
Cass, - a real person - and not CAS at all.

dust jacket. Near Fine in Dust Jacket. Hardcover.

Other Horrors. Edited by Robert E. Weinberg.
[West Linn, Oregon]: FAX Collector's Editions.
[1974]. First Edition, First Printing. First
edition. Large octavo, original black cloth
titled in red on spine panel. 151 pp. Approx 1000
