with THROUGH THE LOOKING-GLASS. London: MacMillan and Co., Ltd., 1952. 
Reprint. Two volumes beautifully bound in one in full red polished calf 
leather by Charles E. Lauriat with a large gilt rabbit on the front 
cover and a gilt queen on the rear cover, dual gilt-ruled borders, gilt 
dentelles, and a gilt-decorated spine with contrasting morocco spine 
labels. Both titles with the original illustrations by John Tenniel. 
Very mild wear to the spine tip at the top with light rubbing to the 
front spine edge which has a half-inch split at the top. Still a bright, 
Near Fine example of a lovely binding. (#014645)        $600.00
