(6-1/2" x 9-3/4") bound in full green sheepskin. Introduction by Mark
Van Doren. Printed in Kaatskill type designed and cut for the book by
Frederic W. Goudy and set by Berthat M. Goudy at the Village Press.
Illustrations reproduced from engravings by Felix Darley. Copy #509 of
1500 SIGNED by the designer on the colophon page. The eighth book of the
press and one of the most difficult to find in anything approaching Fine
condition because of the fragile sheepskin binding. Monthly Letter laid
in. Spine evenly sunned; mild edgewear with a couple of small scrapes on
the rear board. Near Fine in a Fine slipcase and scarce as such.
