HOLMES, Oliver Wendell. SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH. Boston: Notman, [@1880]. An
oval albumen photograph mounted on a cabinet card (4-1/4" x 6-1/2") with
a 99 Boylston Street imprint on the verso and SIGNED at the bottom
margin below the image: "Oliver Wendell Holmes/Boston, June 16th 1880."
Also INSCRIBED and SIGNED on the verso: "To F. Bennock/With the best
regards of/O.W. Holmes." Darkening to edges on both sides. Near Fine and
a handsome and scarce example. (#015373) $1,500.00
