quarto (7- 1/8" x 10-1/4") bound in half vellum with gilt stamping and 
decorated paste-paper sides. The Samuel Croxall translation decorated 
with facsimiles of old Florentine woodcuts redrawn by Bruce Rogers who 
designed the book. Partly printed in red and black. Copy #509 of 1500 
SIGNED by the book's designer, perhaps the greatest American 
typographer, whose work is shown off well in this beautiful book.
