Cont. gilt tooled paneled red morocco, elaborately gilt spine, extremities & hinges somewhat rubbed, front hinge starting but still sound. Occasional soiling and foxing. The scarce first edition. Wing. H2821. Five editions were printed in the 17th century, and many more in the 18th century.
