Archive of Early 20th Century Documents Relating to the Independent Ice
Company of Massachusetts & New Hampshire.
Includes:
- Statement of Condition, The Independent Ice Company of East Cambridge,
Massachusetts, dated April 1, 1901
- Folding blueprints, "Plan of Land, Independent Ice Company, Lakeport,
N.H., Dec. 1926" (33.5"x24")
- Letter dated August 24, 1927 on the letterhead the the Attorney
General of Massachusetts, to the Independent Ice Company, detailing a
complaint that they are charging peddlers in different towns different
prices per ton for ice and informing them that this is illegal
- 2 Letters dated March 31st, 1931 on the letterhead of the American Ice
Company of Jersey City, N.J., to Robert B. Stone of Stone & Jones law
firm in Boston, regarding sale of the Independent Ice Company property
in Laconia, N.H.
- A 1-page inventory of tools and supplies owned by the Independent Ice
Company in Laconia, N.H., with a cover letter dated April 7, 1931, in a
folder stamped "Stone & Jones - Boston"
- A 3-page inventory of ice company equipment and supplies, with the
penciled notation "Lakeport, N.H. - Listed by Newlin & Taylor - April 4,
1931 - Robert Stone".
Some soil and wear, blueprints with soil, wear, and tearing at some
folds. $250

Standard courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges are
$5.00 for the first book, and $2.00 for each additional book. Shipments
outside the U.S. will be billed at cost. We accept returns if we are
notified within ten days of your receipt of the books-please ask for
full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add 6.25%
state sales tax.
