Title page printed in red & black over an elaborately gold printed vignette. Each page of text within an illuminated color printed border decorated with miniature scenes. Red moire silk endpapers. Edition limited to 220 numbered copies (this is #176) with an original signed watercolor. This copy has 2 signed watercolors, the second is added specially to this copy and is inscribed by the artist. Full red morocco decorated in black & gilt. Front cover is decorated in relief with a gilded metal crown, fleur-de-lis, and 2 hallebardes. T.e.g. Housed in publisher's morocco edged marbled paper covered cardboard slipcase. Laid in at front is the certificate of authenticity signed by the publisher Joseph Pardo, dated 24 Decembre 1969.
