The second edition (there are many editions throughout the 18th century) after the Paris, 1732 first edition. Although it purports to be an authentic memoir of the soldier, Indian scout and pirate Robert Chevalier de Beauchene (d. 1731) this is in fact an imaginary biography, i.e. fiction. See Sabin #40157.
