[HARRISON, Benjamin]. THE LANDING OF THE PILGRIM FATHERS. London & New 
York: Castell Brothers and E. & J. B. Young & Co., n.d. [@1887]. First 
Edition. Small (4" x 4-1/2") chromolithographed gift book with 
illustrated covers and a green cloth spine, consisting of 32 pages with 
every page with a chromolithograph illustration. Introductory poem by 
Felicia Hemans. A very special copy as this is INSCRIBED and SIGNED on 
the dark front endpaper: "I wish you a very/happy Christmas/To Miss 
Ethel Fletcher -/ Benj. Harrison/Dec. 25,1888." Books signed by Harrison 
are quite scarce. Mild rubbing and wear to the covers, the front cover 
pulling away a little from the text block but still tight. Inscription 
dark and clear, contents clean. Very Good. (#018013)        $4,000.00
