in half fine white calf with matching corners and boards covered with
patterned paper designed by T. M. Cleland. Translated by George Ives,
with an introduction by Andre Gide and a handbook to the essays by Grace
Norton. Designed and decorated by T. M. Cleland. Copy #39 of 1500 SIGNED
by the designer on the colophon page. Monthly Letter laid in. Bookplates
on each front pastedown. Some darkening to the spines but none of the
dryness typical for this set. Near Fine in a Near Fine slipcase.
