boards. Illustrated with 50 delicately hand-colored engraved plates. 
This is the fifth volume from Bertuch's illustrated encyclopedia for 
children: BILDERBUCH FÜR KINDER. With title pages and text in four 
languages: Latin, German, Hungarian, and French. Plates primarily depict 
plants and birds but also includes animals, shells, etc. Two of the most 
interesting multi-figure plates depict monkeys. Mild aging to text but
