FITZGERALD, F. Scott. THE GREAT GATSBY. [New York]: Limited Editions 
Club, (1980). Octavo (6-3/4" x 8-5/8") bound in flexible suede-like 
black soft leather with a geometric pattern in subtle colors of blue, 
green, and purple with similar colored raised threads on the spine 
enhanced with metal clips. The fine binding is signed at the bottom of 
the front inside cover with what appear to be a gilt flower and a 
hedgehog. Housed in a specially made slipcase of stiff blue paper with 
protective wood panels at the top and bottom. Copy #1653 of 2000 
illustrated with 14 color gouaches by Fred Meyer and SIGNED by the 
artist on the colophon page. Fine in a Fine slipcase. (#017820)
