Colleagues,

We are pleased to offer:

Huttich, Johann. IMPERATORUM ET CAESARUM VITAE CUM IMAGINIBUS AD VIVAM
EFFIGIEM EXPRESSIS..., 1534 [and] CONSULUM ROMANORUM..., 1537. Strasbourg:
W. Koephel, 1534-1537. Fourth edition. Two volumes bound as one.
Illustrated throughout with portraits as they appear on Roman coins, along
with headpieces, tailpieces, and printer's devices. Bound in laced vellum,
blind-tooled designs, raised bands. The binding shows signs of its age,
although sound. A bookplate inside the cover appears to be a photocopy of
an old one. 7.75" x 5.5" Good . Vellum .
First published by Koephel in 1525, this fourth edition is the first one
with the Consulum Romanorum supplement, illustrating some 54 consular coins

are woodcuts by Hans Weiditz. $1,200.00
