George Cruikshank: Illustrations of Sir Walter Scott's Demonology and Witchcraft. A New Edition. London: Published for the Author, by Charles Tilt, 1835. Tall 12mo (16.5 cm) in modern quarter morocco and marbled boards; with the publisher's adverts bound in at the rear; twelve hand-colored plates with accompanying leaves of descriptive text (complete).

Tilt's reissue of Cruikshank's illustrations, originally published in 1830, which here appear hand-colored for the first time. Some light toning to the leaves, otherwise very clean and fresh, firmly bound. A nice crisp copy.
