[COOPER, James Fenimore]. THE WEPT OF WISH TON-WISH: A TALE...
Philadelphia: Carey, Lea & Carey, 1829. First Edition. Published
previously in England. Two volumes bound in modern blue-gray boards with
paper spine labels after the original. BAL 3844; Spiller & Blackburn 11.
Set in Connecticut during the 17th century. Bound with the six pages of
ads at the end of the second volume but without the original endpapers
except for the rear endpaper of the second volume. Likely a matched set
as the second volume only has an 1830 owner's name on the title page in
ink and has some foxing and staining throughout while the first volume
is very clean. Very Good. (#010878) $300.00
