Oakes for Jasper Emery. 1638. Sm. 4to. (26),416pp. Text printed within ruled borders. Added engraved title with a portrait of the author and 4 vignettes (imperceptibly inlaid on old paper). Large woodcut capitals. Finely bound by Riviere & Son in mottled polished calf, rebacked, with the old gilt decorated spine laid down. T.e.g. Final leaf a bit soiled and with a paper repair at lower corner (no text loss).    $1,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
