At the top of the title page is the signature of "Josiah Quincy"  presumably Josiah Quincy (1772-1864), Congressman, Mayor of Boston and President of Harvard University. Also with the signature of W. W. Rice on the front free endpaper. A very nice copy, but for some unknown reason the publisher's line (A. and G.
