[John] Jensen: Body-Building. Original pen-and-ink caricature of British Prime Minister Edward Heath, signed ("Jensen") at upper-left, presumably executed for the Sunday Telegraph, early 1970s. Mounted on stiff card backing lettered with title, "Body-Building"; measuring 12 x 16 1/8 in.; minor touches of soiling and wear to the margins of the backing.

John Jensen (b. 1930), longtime political cartoonist for the Sunday Telegraph (1961-1979), regular contributor to Punch, The Tatler, The Spectator, etc.; director and former chairman of the Cartoon Art Trust, founding member of the British Cartoonists' Association (British Cartoon Archive, University of Kent). Edward Heath (1916-2005) was Prime Minister from 1970-74 and leader of the Conservative Party from 1965-75.
