#9. First & only edition, quarto, (Digest Newspaper); pp; (4); There is
a triangular water-stain affecting the top left corner section of the
piece, else uncut and very good. This paper was published by the
Hamilton Clay Club to promote Henry Clay's election to the Presidency.
It is quite scarce with minimal holdings. This issue has a discussion of
anti-slavery matters and the annexation of Texas. Anti-Polk diatribes.

a triangular water-stain affecting the top left corner section of the
piece, else uncut and very good. This paper was published by the
Hamilton Clay Club to promote Henry Clay's election to the Presidency.
It is quite scarce with minimal holdings. This issue has printed the
ballot / ticket for Clay as the Whig candidate and Millard Fillmore as
the gubernatorial standard bearer for New York. There is discussion of
anti-slavery matters and the annexation of Texas. This is a double
number of the paper. Anti-Polk diatribes.
