cards issued with Player Cigarettes. London: John Player & Sons, [1923].
Set of fifty (50) cards. Dickens characters are depicted in full color,
along with their names and the novels wherein they appeared.  On the versos
are more detailed descriptions of each character. 2-5.8" x 1-3/8". In
unusually nice condition, housed in five clear sleeves of ten cards each.
Fine condition.  First issued by Player in 1912 as two sets of 25 cards,
and here reissued in 1923 as a set of 50.   $125.00
