Maine & Bermuda. PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM SHOWING A GROUP OF YOUNG WOMEN AND
OTHERS  TOURING MAINE, WITH A SOJOURN TO BERMUDA, 1936-1938.  Contains some
96 snapshots mounted to 75 black leaves, some captioned or dated in white
ink; several loose pages. Photographs vary in size from 2.25" x 3" to 6" by
4". Housed in a string-tied leatherette album with "Photographs" on the
cover.  Very Good condition.

Views include those in and around a cabin at Bridgeton, Maine, many taken
at Highland Lake. Other locations include: Portsmouth, NH; Fryeburg, Maine
(Oxford County on the NH border); and Pirate's Point in Yarmouth, Maine. ~~
Sixteen snapshots were taken in Bermuda (St. George, Hotel Langdon, Oxford
House, etc.) and aboard ship enroute to Bermuda. ~~ The photographer is a
young woman. People shown include Mother and Dad, Phil, Florence, Jack, and
the old car, Lizzie. Also, The Ballard Kids, Eleanor Harris, Nancy Small,
and Carol Ann Stebbins. Several group shots of young women are labeled: The
Conference, April 11, 1937; The Office--Sally, Vangie and Florence;
Business Girls House Party; Kamp Konoway; &c.   $150.00
