document, four pages, with  embossed seals of the State of New York, the 
Territory of Dakota and the Northern Pacific Railroad Company, signed by 
Charles Barstow Wright, President, Northern Pacific Railroad, & George 
Follett, New York Commissioner of Deeds; This land was granted to the 
Railroad by "An Act Granting Lands to aid in the Construction of a 
Railroad and Telegraph Line from Lake Superior to Puget Sound on the 
Pacific Coast By the Northern Route", July 2, 1864.
