Nouvelle edition. Paris: chez Jerosme Bobin, 1694. Bound in full polished goatskin with gilt-tooled turn-ins, marbled endpapers, page edges gilt; 12mo (16.25 cm); [12], 285, [3] pp.

Early edition of this seventeenth-century courtesy book by de Bourdonne, not found in OCLC. Spine a bit darkened, light wear to the extremities; an early owner has identified the author with a neat ink annotation on the prefatory leaf; mild toning to the leaves with a very few occasional small spots and touches of soiling; else clean, firmly bound. Front paste-down with an early owner's small monogram shelving label ("A.W.") and the (later) bookplate of Ross Ambler Curran, early twentieth-century West Coast society figure and bibliophile.
