First edition thus. 110pp; one tipped-on color plate, three double-page and
two single-page silhouettes in color; 14 b&w silhouettes (6 double-page, 8
single-page), and 41 drawings in the text. [The color plate did not appear
in the trade edition.] Bound in vellum-backed ivory boards, gilt lettering
and small cover illustration, top edges gilt. Binding slightly discolored
as usual; tape shadows on endpapers (probably from an old, temporary paper
jacket). 11.5" x 9"  Very Good.
This is #404 of 625 copies, signed by Arthur Rackham.    $750.00
