This is the most famous work of the German Christian Hebraist, Wagenseil (1631-1705), who was professor of oriental languages at the University of Altdorf. The text is a compilation of anti-Christian works written by Jewish authors, in the original Hebrew and their Latin translations. It was published to aid Christian ministries to counter Jewish arguments denying the divinity of Christ.
