[Ernst Karl Ludwig Isenburg von Buri:] Ludwig Capet, oder Der Koenigsmord. Ein burgerliches Trauerspiel in vier Aufzugen. Neuwied: bey J. L. Gehra, 1794. Slim 12mo (16 cm) in early/period half calf over boards, spine tooled in gilt; 160 pp. Binding with wear to the extremities, modest toning/browning to the leaves with occasional light spotting.

Buri's work is preceded by an engraved title-page reading: Szenen aus den letzten Tagen Marien Antoinettens von Frankreich, Offenbach: U. Weiss und Carl Ludwig Brede, 1794. With a vignette portrait of Marie Antoinette, who had been executed in October, 1793. This may be the title-page of an entirely separate work, but in any case, a very uncommon early (second?) edition of Buri's Ludwig [Louis] Capet: OCLC locates only one copy (excluding microforms and ebooks), at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin.
