(Robert E Lee)  Anonymous. Incomplete Manuscript of Robert E. Lee's 
Conduct of Operations Of The Army Of Northern Virginia In The Civil 
War.  Circa 1890. Quarto blue lined graph paper; pp; 11-24 with 3 
additional pages interspersed eg. 20B; Sixteen pages total; Closely 
written single spaced readable script, written on rectos only; The 
manuscript begins with Second Manassas and follows Lee's career through 
the end of the War and to his death in Lexington in 1870. References in 
the text help date this work. The author quotes Grant from his memoirs 
and refers to a Dr. Heywood who wrote about Gettysburg the year prior. A 
well written narrative, sympathetic to Lee and his actions in service to 
the Confederacy. We have searched google books and find no instance of 
publication.
