wrappers, spine titled in manuscript black ink, later clear mylar
dust-jacket; binding square and tight, spine ends and extremities of
covers chipped. SCARCE in the market. Very Good.

FIRST EDITION of the fourth volume. Freeman G. Teed was City Auditor for
the City of Los Angeles from 1886 to 1888. He was elected to the City
Council from the Fifth Ward, and served from 1892 to 1894, and served as
President of the City Council. Teed was a member of the Jonathan Club
and was first potentate of Los Angeles' Al Malaikah Temple of the order
of the Shrine. The last auction auction for this title was 1943.
