1882 Muzzy's Starch Booklet.

Issued in Elkhart, Indiana by the Elkhart Starch Company in 1882.

A cook-booklet full of recipes for delicious cakes, pies and the things 
you can make with Muzzy's Starch. The wonderful full-page chromo plates 
include four illustrating various starch boxes, four plates where small, 
flower-capped children ride giant frogs and battle enormous insects, and 
two plates showing a happy housewife in her starch-stocked kitchen and 
visiting her local Chinese laundry.

Softcover. 6"x4", 20 pages, 10 full-page chromolithographed plates. 
With- a period handwritten recipe card, with recipes on both sides, for 
Lemon Pie and Chocolate pudding. The covers have some wear and soil. The 
interior has some minor soil, and light wear.  $85

All payments must be in U.S. funds and negotiable through a U.S. bank;

Standard courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges are 
$5.00 for the first book, and $2.00 for each additional book. Shipments 
outside the U.S. will be billed at cost. We accept returns if we are 
notified within ten days of your receipt of the books-please ask for 
full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add 6.25% 
state sales tax.
