Octavo, (9" x 4") brochure that unfolds to 15.5" x 18"; illustrated; "A 
City Within A City"; Photograph and an exploded diagram ("Behind The 
Scenes Of Grand Central Terminal In Wartime") of the interior of this 
great building;

(Petroliana / Esso) Selected Views of the United States. Trenton NJ: 
Esso Touring Service, c1953.

Accordion fold souvenir style post card album. 3.75" x 6";  Nine 
double-sided panels of American views; Mount Vernon; Planter's Hotel, 
Charleston SC; Niagara Falls; Boardwalk, Atlantic City; etc. 
interspersed are six Esso advertisements, touting various services; 
Batteries, Rest Rooms, Maps et al. This example from Greene's Esso 
Service Center in Wilmington Vt. This copy still has the business reply 
card to obtain maps for your prospective trip. Uncommon!

(Culinary) Windsor Hotel, Saratoga N.Y. Luncheon Menu, September 12, 
1902. Embossed card stock measuring (7" x 4.25");  There is a Coat of 
Arms at top left; Age toned and lightly soiled else very good; Soups, 
Roasts, Salads, Cold Meats & More. "All drinking water used in this 
hotel is filtered by Weaver's Non-Chemical using Filters, strictly free 
from Fermentative and Cromengenic Germs", So There!!

First Edition. 24mo; pp; 63, illustrated with decorations by Herbert F. 
Roese; original printed stiff paper wrappers; Appropriatley there is a 
round stain on the front wrapper from a glass, spine paper edge is 
started else very good. A first of the classic handbook to mixology, 
with a guide to mixers, recipes for gin, rum, fizzes, and cocktails. 
This copy was a premium gift from Simon Simons of Hartsdale NY, a Liquor 
Store.

ads; original printed paper wrappers; a good or better copy, the 
wrappers are faded, with edge wear, internally very good and complete; 
"A quarterly Journal of Theatre and Film Arts"; Lee Strasburg, G. H. 
Lewes, Tommaso Salvini & others; What is most intriguing is the ink 
ownership statement at the top of the upper wrapper, "Wm Morris Agency, 
1270 Sixth Ave"

illustrates the ceiling.

Arranged Geographically; The author states he is a member of the

(Harvard) Constitution And By-Laws Of The Randall Hall Association Of 
Harvard University. Cambridge: Carl G. Clark, 1902.

Unrecorded; 24mo; pp; 23; amendments and updated By-Laws have been 
pasted into place; original printed blue paper wrappers lettered in 
black; small stain at top right corner, edge wear, else very good. 
Scarce. Randall Hall, built ca. 1899, housed a dining hall, which was 
known for being the cheaper alternative to dining at Memorial Hall. The 
Randall Hall Dining Hall was also known for its student waiter system 
which was a way for students to reduce their expenses while attending 
the University. The hall also housed at one time or another two 
libraries and the Harvard University Press office. In 1962, Randall Hall 
was demolished to make room for William James Hall. There is one 
location (Harvard) of an 1900 imprint of this title but that printing 
only contains 14 pages.

Octavo; pp; 111, (i); illustrated with forty black and white photographs 
including a map; original printed paper wrappers; Very good. Essentially 
a youth hostel guide book and a look at Germany on the eve of World War 
II. Particularly interesting is the Section on the upcoming Olympic 
Games, (1936) and the "Hitler Youth".

wrappers; Light toning else very good. Quite scarce, OCLC locates just 
one copiy of this piece. Great feel of the 1920's

New Edition. Octavo; pp; 87, (i), (ii), advertisements; illustrated a 
frontispiece and a folding color plan of the Palace at the rear and 
thirty-four additional black and white plates and photographs; original 
decorated red paper wrappers; Very good. Previous editions had the title 
of "The New Palace..." A very nice copy.

(Dance Card) Wachusett Council No. 21 Order Of United American Mechanics 
Second Anniversary Concert Programme & Dance Card, March 5, 1885;  $25.00
Four page Dance Card. Light sage card and black ink. Listing the ten 
musical pieces and the eleven dances for that evening. Principals listed 
on rear. Measures approx. 4 1/4 " x 3 1/4". The Order of United American 
Mechanics was an anti-Catholic American Nativist organization of the 
mid-19th century. It was founded in Philadelphia amid the anti-alien 
riots of 1844-45. It originally was called the Union of Workers. Members 
were required to undertake efforts to publicize and campaign against the 
hiring of cheap foreign labor and to patronize only "American" businesses.
