Edmond Texier: Tableau de Paris. Ouvrage illustré de quinze cents gravures. Paris: Paulin et Le Chevalier, 1852-53. Two volumes, folio (37 cm; 14 5/8 in.), in early/original cloth bindings; 388, 396 pp. Illustrated, according to the subtitle, with 1500 engravings after Blanchard, Cham, Gavarni, J. J. Grandville, Lami, etc. etc. Bindings sunned and damp-stained, worn at the extremities; contents with intermittent mild toning and offsetting, occasional light touches of soiling, some bumping to the corners, otherwise quite clean, firmly bound.
