Illustrated with chess board diagrams. Orig. red cloth, gilt, lightly soiled. Each vol. with the varying bookplates of Albert Parsons Sachs. In addition, the 1907 volume has an inscription awarding the book to Sachs as a first prize in the Clinton High School chess tournament; and the 1910 volume has Sach's dated ownership signature on the front free endpaper. The final volume, the "War Number" combines the years 1915 and 1916, and is scarce.    $375.00 (trade discount allowed)
