Eight separate works in twenty-one volumes. Defects as noted below; otherwise generally good to very good condition. Some with bookplates of Ross Ambler Curran, early twentieth-century West Coast society figure and bibliophile.

Madame de Motteville: Memoires pour Servir a l'Histoire d'Anne d'Autriche, epouse de Louis XIII. Maestricht: 1782. Six volumes (complete), 12mo, full green morocco; all page edges gilt. Several boards detached, spines darkened; some foxing to the preliminary leaves.

Galanteries des Rois de France, depuis le commencement de la Monarchie. Paris: 1781. Vol. II only, 12mo, armorial calf binding; engravings. Corners worn, joints cracked but holding.

Lettres choisies de MMmes de Sevigne, de Grignan, de Simiane, et de Maintenon. Paris: 1816. Three volumes (complete), 16mo, in period mottled calf; frontispiece in vol. I only. Joints cracked, spines damaged with loss, one spine loose. Early booklabels signed in ms. with the name "Lafon."

Madame de Stael: Considerations sur les principaux evenemens de la Revolution Francoise. Paris: 1818. Second edition. Three volumes (complete), 8vo, quarter crimson calf and marbled boards. Spines darkened, wear to one spine head; scattered foxing.

Jean Baptiste Louis Gresset: Oeuvres Choisies de Gresset precedees d'un essai sur sa vie et ses ecrits pas M. Campenon. Paris: 1823. Full period calf decorated in blind and gilt; frontispiece. Bumping and wear to the corners and spine heads, scuffing to the boards; scattered foxing.

Alphonse de Lamartine: Oeuvres de M. de Lamartine. Paris: 1832. Four volumes (complete); 8vo, bound in full red leather tooled in blind, black and gilt, all page edges gilt; frontispieces and folding facsimile. Modest wear to the bindings, sunning to the spines; scattered foxing; spine of vol. 3 misnumbered "5".

Alphonse de Lamartine: Les Confidences. Paris: 1907. Small 8vo, 1/2 morocco and marbled boards. Wear to the edges, spine sunned.

Emile Faguet: Etudes Litteraires. Seizieme Siecle [&] Dix-neuvieme Siecle. Paris: [ca. 1902-03]. Two volumes, tall 12mo, in modern quarter brown morocco and marbled boards. Mild toning to the leaves, a few pencil markings.
