KEPT BY THIS YOUNG MAN OF HARDWICK, MASSACHUSETTS, 1879-1886. Original
manuscript. Contains about 40pp of handwritten entries, containing
signatures and messages. Bound in blind-stamped blue cloth, gilt-decorated
cover with chromolitho of a child's head; front inner hinge cracked, else
very good.  3" x 4.75"
Most of the entries are datelined at Hardwick and Ware, Massachusetts, with
others at Orange, South Hadley Falls, Milford, Gilbertsville, Belchertown,
and Greenwich (one of the "lost" Quabbin towns). Family names include:
Sturtevant, Nichols, Killmer, Barnes, Robinson, Cheever, Richardson,
Sibley, Avery, Bartlett, Fitzpatrick, and others.  $50.00
