Title within an elaborate architectural woodcut border. First text leaf (A2) within a decorative woodcut border. Numerous large woodcut initials. 18th century paneled calf, gilt decorated spine, worn & chipped at lower spine. Title page a bit soiled and with an old paper repair at bottom blank margin (no text loss). A few marginal notations in two different contemporary hands. Minor worming at bottom blank margin of last few leaves. The final leaf, a blank, is lacking. Curiously, in this copy a previous owner has added a leaf at the front of the volume (preceding the title page), which is the 16th century woodcut device of Cratander, from another volume, somewhat soiled and on a slightly smaller paper size.     $1,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
