NICHOLAS. 88 Parts, 1 issue in wraps, and 2 indexes. 79 Parts are semiannual (or half a volume each, usually beginning in either November or May, a few parts begin Jan or July beginning in Jan. 1925). 9 vols are a single part (Vols I-VI, XXI-XXII, and XXIV, or Nov. 1873 to Oct. 1879; and Nov. 1893-Oct. 1895, and Nov. 1896-Oct. 1897.) (Each mustard yellow volume encompasses a full year rather than being a semiannual part: Nov. 1893 to Oct. 1895, Nov. 1896 and Nov. 1896 to Oct. 1897). 3 vols contemp ½ leather and cloth. 5 parts and both indexes are modern cloth. Dec. cloth volumes have the usual cracked hinges, the 3 parts in ½ leather have split joints. At least a few loose leaves in most volumes from 1890’s onward, occasional loose leaf before then. At least 1 volume missing a signature. 2 vols mostly disbound (Nov. 1897 to Apr. 1898 and Nov. 1898 to Apr. 1899), several others loose. Several frontis' lacking. Several vols in the 1890’s and most modern cloth volumes lack title leaves.
